Jay
Burke
Writer / Director / Producer
Jay is an up-and-coming filmmaker from Dartmouth, MA.
He earned a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and
an M.F.A. in Film from Columbia University in New York
City. In his prior career, he spent six years as a management
consultant with Accenture, working out of the Chicago,
Boston, and Sydney, Australia offices, and a new media
specialist at an advertising agency in New York City.
Jay recently served as Director of Photography on the
basketball training series "Building a Champion,"
shot in Los Angeles and starring LA Lakers coaches Phil
Jackson, Tex Winters, and Jim Cleamons.
Jay is the recipient of a 2005 $10,000 screenwriting
award from the Alfred P. Sloan foundation, for his feature
script, "Whaling City". He was recently hired
as a contract content developer for Major League Baseball.

Kyle
Sullivan
Producer
Kyle also is from Dartmouth, MA, and earned his B.S.
from the University of Notre Dame. He recently started
his own company in Seattle, WA. Prior to helping produce
this film, Kyle has had successful careers in both Real
Estate and Technology.

Andrew
Simpson
Producer (Business Development)
Andrew focuses on Business Development for "1918"
and its production company, Mass Productions. Mr. Simpson
has held executive Marketing and Sales positions with
several high tech firms including Net Perceptions, IBM,
Parametric Technology Corporation, Open Software Foundation
and The Sona Network, which pioneered the concept of
ad-sponsored desktop software. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s
degree in Economics from Harvard University.

Li
Director of Photography
T.W. has worked as Director of Photography since 1985
on dozens of feature-length and short films. He has
11 feature films to his credit including: "The
Darien Gap", "Orphan", "Jane Street",
"Moving In / Moving Out", "Bleached",
"Apocalypse Bop", "My Girlfriend's Boyfriend",
"Friends First", "Squeeze" (2nd
unit), "Pearl", and "The Empath".
He
has directed and photographed over 60 commercials, and
is currently on the faculty of Columbia College Chicago
and teaches at The Summer Workshops in Rockport, Maine.
He was the recipient of a Telly award in 1995, and is
a two time winner of the New England Film/Video Fellowship
(1989 and 1994).
T.W. recently finished shooting the mini-series "Pilot
Season" starring Andy Dick, Isla Fisher and Sarah
Silverman.

Janelle
McCuen
Editor
A recent transplant to Boston from San Francisco, Janelle
has nine years experience in motion picture production
and post-production with credits on commercial projects
and independent films in key roles including Editor,
Writer, Director, and Cinematographer. Her most recent
post was as the Internal Editor for Apple's Final Cut
Pro design team.
Janelle
is the creative force behind The Girl Project, an Independent
production company committed to providing authentic
role models for girls and women in cinema. She is also
an accomplished still photographer specializing in personal
portraiture. Her portraits and technical photography
have been published on client websites, print
media ad campaigns, musical CDs and book jackets.

Jamie
Northrup
Co-Producer / Production Manager
Jamie has worked as a Final Cut Pro instructor and Production
Assistant, and was an invaluable all-around asset for
this film.
He
is also a renowned gymnast, leading the College of William
and Mary to a National Championship in 2004 as team
captain. At the 2004 USA Gymnastics Collegiate National
Championships, Jamie placed second overall individually.
He placed first in the Floor event, as well as placing
in the Pommel Horse, Vault, Still Rings,and Horizontal
Bars events. He is also a member of the Boston Celtics
slam dunk team.

Richard
Moos
Additional Cinematography
Rich is a staple on the New England film scene, having
worked as Editor, Producer, Director, and Cinematographer
on several films. He directed the 2001 feature film
"Orphan" starring Robert Wahlberg, and worked
with Errol Morris on "Fast, Cheap and Out of Control"
(1997). Rich currently lives on Cape Cod.

1st AC
Jato is a graduate of Northwestern University in Chicago.
He has shot several short films, both as Director and
Director of Photography, and worked on the Spike Lee
film "She Hate Me" (2004). He is currently
studying for his M.F.A. in film at New York University
(NYU).

Pete
Riso
Associate Producer / Gaffer
Pete is an experienced Gaffer and Grip. He worked the
entire production, from equipment pick-up to drop-off.
Rental houses lauded our "unbelievably organized"
returns, thanks entirely to Pete. He currently lives
in New York City.

Jonann
Brady
Publicity / Story Consultant
Jonann is an experienced writer, journalist, and copy
editor. She earned an M.A. in Journalism from Columbia
University, the same program that awards the Pulitzer
Prize. Jonann served as Editor of a number of newspapers
in Long Island, and currently works as a freelance journalist
for ABC News in New York City.
